I think I was supposed to give just ONE favorite restaurant, but that just isn't possible for me because I don't have just one. So here's my top fav's:
1) South Congress Cafe - I have yet to be disappointed by any of their food, but my absolute favorite is the Seared Tuna Salad. YUM...
2) Bess Bistro- This is Sandra Bullock's restaurant, and it does not disappoint!
3) Galaxy Cafe- If you go here and you don't get their Mac N' Cheese as your side dish, you are wasting your time. But I love the fish wraps the most, but next is their Seared Tuna Salad.
4) Maudie's- Because you have to have a favorite mexican restaurant. The enchilada's and margarita's are excellent. However, my only complaint is that I don't really like their fajitas.
5) Mandola's Italian Market- I just re-discovered this place a week or so ago (and mentioned it in one of my blogs). But it is the best tasting Italian food I think I have ever had, and it was an actual Italian approved!
If you're ever in Austin, I suggest you try one of those for starters!
