The Cotton Bowl???

Let's get one thing straight: I am VERY excited that the Aggies made it to a bowl like the Cotton Bowl!

Now, with that being said, I am a little unhappy with a few things about the actual Cotton Bowl. Whomever it is that makes the decisions and puts on the Cotton Bowl, they sold their soul to the devil. And the devil's name is Jerry Jones. Reasons why:

1) This isn't the Cotton BOWL. That bowl resides in Fair Park, and always will. If it isn't going to be at Fair Park and at Jerry World instead, we should at least re-name it. All in favor of Death Star Bowl say "I!"

2) Not on New Years Day? That's the beauty of that bowl, you are hung over and feel like death, but hey, you get to watch football!

3) Whoa...not only is it not on New Years Day, but it's on FRIDAY, JANUARY THE SEVENTH? People (like myself) work that day. You mean I would have to take a day off from work to go to a bowl game? And everyone will really be riled up to watch football on a Friday (I realize the Aggies and LSU will care enough, but how many other football fans out there do you think will tune in?).

4) $150 is the cheapest ticket I can buy, and it's in the nose-bleeds? You've got to be friggin' kidding me!

5) The people that put on the Cotton Bowl are such sell-outs. The Cotton Bowl is on of the original great classics when it comes to bowl games. They should keep their foot down. When New Years day gets so filled up with games, let the others do the backing down, not you Cotton Bowl. But no, instead you've sold your soul to Jerry Jones and all it cost you was your venue, your date and your reasonably priced tickets. But whatever, the stadium brings good luck, right? I mean, look at the Cowboys season, it's been glorious!

So anyways, in case you guys were wondering, count me out on the Cotton Bowl. Unless someone gets me tickets at half the cost, I am definitely not going to that!

P.S. ...Gig 'Em Aggies!!!
